Update or upgrade a Linux Ubuntu system dependency, run the following command:

sudo apt update

sudo apt upgrade

Following command on command prompt to install telegram desktop messenger app in linux ubuntu system:

sudo apt install telegram-desktop

Then, Enter “y” to permit the process to complete the Telegram installation on system.
